National initiative to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in optics and photonics since the student stage. The organizing team includes 10 members across six regions and 8 institutions in Mexico. The initiative includes online and in-person events on entrepreneurship, soft skills, intellectual property and translational science.

Co-founded with a team of 7 from 5 regions of Mexico, connects Mexican optics and photonics community across academia and industry. Launched with a 2-day online event gathering researchers, students and industry leaders.

• Founder. “La magia de la luz” (2023 – Present).

This project aims to bring optics and photonics technology to young students and children. It involves recruiting and training science communicators to visit schools and conduct interactive activities. To date, the project has been carried out mainly in Mexico City and Tamaulipas, both regions in the south and north part of Mexico.
