I am a young researcher specializing in fiber optic sensors and photonic instrumentation. My research focuses on the use of photoluminescent materials for fiber optic sensors, exploring their potential applications in measurement and monitoring systems.

In addition to my academic work, I serve as the Global Strategy Representative for Latin America at the IEEE Photonics Society and as Chair of the IEEE Mexico Optics and Photonics Group, where I promote collaboration, innovation, and scientific development in optics and photonics.

I am deeply committed to promoting STEM fields and scientific communication. I actively participate in initiatives that inspire young students to pursue careers in science and engineering, while bringing photonic research and technologies closer to society. I believe that collaboration is key to progress as a community and to generating a significant impact; therefore, I continually advocate for and promote interdisciplinary cooperation.
